1/13/2024 0 Comments Usb vid 2109 pid 8888![]() ![]() Everything else runs fine except for the ports. I have not changed any cables inside my PC except exchanging the old PSU with the new PSU. Several of my devices in Hardware Manager show up as not connected and provide me with a Code 45 error (device not connected) which I haven't gained much knowledge on what causes this error. I would like to exhaust all my options in case my Mobo ports really are dead so I don't jump the gun in case it's still a driver issue. I have been trying many things that other websites have been suggesting me such as running memory tests, registry tests, checking hardware manager, resetting CMOS, and checking for new drivers. Everything was fine for a few days until randomly my USB 2.0 ports stopped working. My old PSU finally kicked the bucket a few months back also and I replaced it with a much newer one for a low cost. For the last few months, I have had a problem with getting my USB 2.0 ports to work properly. ![]()
